VIEW FROM WORKSHOP LOCATION
The workshop location is in stunning Ojai, California.  As far back as 1878, The Los Angeles Times called Ojai “The magnetic centre of the earth,” a place where “people come to read the god centres in themselves.”  Reeder says, “The landscape around Ojai comforts the eye, but it’s up to each person to find her/his safe haven in a grief storm otherwise the beauty is lost in the crying wind. My hope is to facilitate some relief by using poetry, storytelling (fiction or non-fiction) and/or dialogue.”

A catered lunch is included.

What people are saying…

Being a native of Hawai’i where our language was spoken and not written was a challenge for me to write my life in words, but, the ideas I got from Connie’s class at the University of Hawaii encouraged me to write my life experiences. She richly enhanced my writing. – Lisa Ann Kehaunani Kahaleauki, Journalist

Loved Connie’s workshop! She helped me finish a script and gave me writing tools to cope with depression. Colin Roach, Retired Engineer & Screenwriter

My knowledge of Conrad Reeder is that she is empowered by special experiences that has the scent of true essence. If you should have the opportunity to study with Connie, be it classroom, apprenticeship, internet or any medium, be ready for real transformation. Ron Lemire, Alternative Medicine Professional

Conrad (Connie) is one of those individuals that expects more of herself than any one else and possesses the tools and talent for writing words or music, plus, she just happens to be a loyal and caring person. Wayne Carson, Wayne Carson Music
